2. What training do your security officers receive?
Our security guards are all either former/active police officers or former/active military veterans, and in many cases, they’re both! Each of our security officers has also completed Police Academy level training and are Colorado P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards & Training) certified, meaning they have the same level of training as police officers and sheriff’s deputies in Colorado. When you are with our security officers, you know you’re under the supervision of the most highly-training security professionals in the state.
Our security officer’s certifications include:
- Former/Active Law Enforcement Officer and/or Combat Military Veteran
- Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Regiment
- Basic Security Officer Certified
- Armed/Concealed Carry Certified (Applicable to Supervisors)

3. What type of background check is performed on your security guards?
Each of our security officers has undergone a thorough fingerprint background check cleared by both the FBI and the Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI). In addition to FBI & CBI checks, we put our guards through a rigorous local background screening, to include polygraph testing, urinalysis, several interviews, and psychological evaluations prior to hiring; and we continue to perform background checks throughout our guard’s employment.
4. Are your security officers in uniform?
Our guards have a standard Armed and Unarmed Uniform per city and county regulations. However, we are willing to discuss and implement what is best for each individual client’s need, situation and preference(s). Additional costs for potential out-of-uniform work may apply.
