Vigilant Tiger Security Gives Back
Since day one, Vigilant Tiger Security has been committed to preventing domestic violence in our community. It’s why we got into this business in the first place — to empower our community members and to protect those who need it most.
In line with this vision, we have decided to step up our level of local support. Vigilant Tiger Security has chosen two incredible nonprofit organizations that we believe are doing standout work in our local area and beyond. We are committed to donating 15% of our profits every year — as well as 100% of our book proceeds — directly to these organizations.
Supporting Local Nonprofit Organizations
These two standout nonprofits are hard at work on the frontlines of domestic abuse support in our community. We see our values aligning perfectly with theirs, and it is an honor and privilege to partner with them in their mission.
Recognizing the intersectionality between domestic violence and human trafficking, these organizations strive to offer safety and support for victims in various situations. We are dedicated to supporting them in this effort to make a community impact. Human trafficking and domestic violence are in some ways inextricably linked, as many victims are exploited by an intimate partner or family member. In these situations, similar types of emotional manipulation are also common.
Trafficking can occur because of or simultaneously with domestic violence, so the nonprofits we support seek to help victims of both types of abuse. It’s crucial that we support and protect our community, and we deeply admire what these organizations are doing to help.
TESSA
Our partnership with TESSA spans back to the very beginning. Since our founding in 2015, we have been proud to support TESSA’s incredible vision for a safer community. As a local nonprofit organization, TESSA is focused on helping victims of partner and sexual violence rebuild their lives and reclaim their freedom. Legal victim advocacy, safehouse services, professional counseling and a 24-hour crisis phone line are just a few of TESSA’s community assistance programs.
TESSA works to offer support and resources for victims of domestic violence and trafficking. Knowing that these situations can occur in similar settings, TESSA provides help and a safe place for victims as they move toward healing. With a wide range of services, TESSA provides resources and trusted support for victims while also empowering the entire community to help. We’re honored to partner with TESSA to address both of these intersectional issues as we pursue a safer future.
La Casa
La Casa strives to be a voice for the marginalized and abused. This nonprofit organization does a fantastic job of offering empathetic and effective care to those who need a helping hand in difficult periods of their lives. La Casa represents victims of child abuse and domestic conflict, both in the courtroom and in the community. The nonprofit also provides a hotline for anyone who may need assistance and offers education and resources to equip community members to help create a safer world.
Along with services to care for domestic abuse victims, La Casa also works to care for human trafficking victims. We understand that the two situations can often overlap, and we strive to help bring victims out of this situation and into freedom. One of our key goals is to support organizations that are tirelessly addressing the complexities of domestic abuse. We’re honored to partner with La Casa and support the community impact they’re making.
Supporting Victims of Domestic Violence
At Vigilant Tiger Security, a focus on preventing domestic violence has always been an integral part of our DNA. Our business first began with services geared toward women and children in need of protection. While our list of services has expanded greatly over time, this original mission is one we continue to stand by every day. Our team continues to offer free protection to women and children who are going through custody battles, domestic abuse and other similar situations.
We seek to be the safety net for families during times of fear and uncertainty. For example, we can be at your side during the tenuous weeks and months when an individual is waiting for confirmation of a restraining order. Our goal is to ensure women and children feel the peace of mind they deserve.
In order to offer the highest quality of service possible, we hold each member of our team to a rigorous standard.
